Now, if I increase the sampling rate of the converter to 96khz, I get 5ms latency because the converter is sampling twice as fast and is dispensing with 'blocks' twice as quickly it is also writing twice as many samples so 96khz wavs take up double the amount of space on your HDD and in RAM. If I go back to 48khz and increase the ASIO buffer to samples I Sony Vaio VPCF126FMB Broadcom Bluetooth about 48ms latency which makes my keyboard awkward to play because every time I hit a key, theres a short but noticeable delay of 48ms before you hear any sound.

My friends roof leaked onto the back of the Sony Vaio PCGL for about three to four hours, there was only one drop every five minutes. The Vaio was turned on while the water was being dropped onto it, that day I sprayed it with comp cleaner after being advised to do so, then placed it in rice for about 8hrs.
I know there has to be water damage. What I don't know is what are the signs of water damage, I will post pictures after I know what to look for if that will help.
